These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of EarnedGuide. We have kept them straightforward. By using EarnedGuide, you agree to what follows.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using EarnedGuide, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use EarnedGuide. The service is intended for U.S. military veterans and their family members. By using it, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide about yourself is accurate.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Please provide accurate information, keep it up to date, and notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

4. Acceptable use

We ask that you use EarnedGuide fairly and lawfully. You agree not to:

  • Misuse the service, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access areas or data you are not authorized to access.
  • Scrape, harvest, or copy content or data from the platform using automated means.
  • Post unlawful, harassing, or misleading content, or otherwise act disrespectfully toward other members of the community.

5. Your content

You own the content you create and the documents you upload. When you post in the community, you grant EarnedGuide a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and distribute that content within the service so that it functions as intended. You are responsible for the content you post and for having the right to share it.

6. Informational purpose only

EarnedGuide is an educational and guidance tool. It is not the VA, not a claims-filing service, and not a provider of legal, financial, or medical advice. Always verify your specific situation on VA.gov or with a free accredited Veterans Service Officer before you act.

7. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the information is accurate, complete, or current, and we do not guarantee any particular benefit outcome, eligibility result, or financial result from using EarnedGuide.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EarnedGuide and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the service or the information it provides. Your decisions and actions regarding your benefits remain your own.

9. Termination

You may stop using EarnedGuide and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or if it is necessary to protect the service or its users.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of EarnedGuide after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
